Roxleigh Wilhelmina

Roxy forms a very important part of our stud in our other love for beautiful modern type Warmblood Sporthorses.  The Weltmeyer line, one of the most well recognised, successful and influential international dressage performance families in the modern era.  At her foal classification she scored an 8.5 for her type and an 8.5 for her trot. The classifier liked the looseness through her shoulder and her good rhythm.

Roxy has now attended her Hannoverian adult classification and was entered into the adult main studbook.

Roxy’s Dam is a Performance tested Hanoverian mare by Graf Landau. SI Grace is a very true to type mare who also scored an overrall 8 for her type, and an 8 for her conformation. Her Performance scores under saddle were equally good.

Welfenadel (Welt Hit II – Weltmeyer) is a licensed Hannoverian Stallion from Germany.  He was imported to Australia and successfully competed across all 3 Olympic disciplines before being exported back to Germany to continue his international competition career under a young rider.  To date he is successfully competing at FEI Grand Prix in Europe on behalf of his Australian owner and the PSI Stud in Germany.  But not before fulfilling his breeding commitments in Australia.  Foals by Welfenadel are generally considered a uniform group, very true to type, lovely temperaments and good movements, Roxy forms part of this group.

Roxy has enjoyed an extremely successful eventing career with a young rider across the WA circuit often finishing on top of the leaderboard on in the top placings.  Her natural flair for dressage meant she produced very competitive scores and her speed and carefulness around the jumps make her a formidable competition, not only talented but also beautiful with striking markings and an expressive face meant Roxy always stood out wherever she went and commanded attention.

She has now joined the breeding program back on stud and has given us two very beautiful colts both sired by IFS stallion Quarterback.  Both colts were lucky to inherit Roxy’s striking marking with white socks and white facial markings and they are now both placed in dressage homes around the country.  Quarterback improved the foals by giving a more powerful hindquarter and lovely free shoulder to both of these colts with the 2018 colt awarded Premium by ACE Group German classifier Gerd Kuerst.

Roxy is now back in foal via international frozen semen from the upcoming young and highly popular KWPN stallion Asgaard’s Ibiza.
