KKP Romance (aka Julia) is a Friesian Sporthorse mare, she is by the Main Foalbook stallion Hilwert L. + Sport who holds a KFPS Breeding Permit and she is out of Friesian Sporthorse Balgownie Sonata.
Julia places 4th out of the 11 two year old fillies judged nationally during 2011 ACE Tour
Julia’s Sire, Hilwert L. came 3rd & 6th respectively in DWTS 2006 in the young horse 5 yr old class and is currently training Prix St George Level dressage in South Australia.
Julia is sister to KP Femke (unbeaten in-hand in WA, and now a consolidated Medieval Games Achery and Jousting horse), KP Elkochino (Multi-Supreme Winner), and KP Oracle (Highest scoring Friesian Sporthorse in ACE inspection 2009). This special filly is the first born daughter of Hilwert in Western Australia. She uses her hindquarters very well and has much power, lift and flambuoyance in her movements with an exceptional floating trot.
Described by the international ACE Classifier as ‘good swinging trot’ and ‘very correct gaits’
When Julia launched her assault on the WA Show scene in late 2009 as a yearling, her first 3 shows saw her sashed SUPREME champion each time and her 4th outing she was sashed Champion of Champions! Like her brother and sister before her, Sonata foals have proven very competitive and in demand!
At the 2010 Perth Royal Show Julia was praised by the local judge for her modern type and true sporthorse conformation coupled with her powerful ground covering strides.
