Folly comes from the imported Ster mare Ymke KP, who was also bred by Kendall Park. Ymke is the 3 times WA ANZFHS Champion and 2 times mother of Best Australian bred foal in WA and also producer of multiple first premium stock. Folly’s dam line is an exceptionally successful breeding line in Australia, with many star and preferent blood on a full paper.
Folly’s sire is the preferent Beart 411, well known for passing good walks and friendly characters. Beart is himself a multiple Champion at the the annual Stallion show and successfully competed in dressage and still to this day one of the most popular and influential breeding stallions of the modern era.
Folly is herself a 1st Premium Foalbook mare and the Reserve WA ANZFHS Champion of 2015. She is an extremely tall mare that is very unusual for a friesian horse, at only 3 years of age she is already 167cm. For this reason she is slow to develop and will require more time to grow into her body and learn how to use her body correctly.
